जापकार्थमयं यत्नो यदर्थ वयमागता: । कृतपूजाविमौ तुल्यौ त्वया तुल्यफलाविमौ

Transliteration

jāpākārtham ayaṁ yatno yadartha vayaṁ āgatāḥ | kṛtapūjāv imau tulyau tvayā tulyaphalāv imau ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Nỗ lực ấy của Ngài được thực hiện chính để ban cho vị Bà-la-môn chuyên trì tụng một cảnh giới tốt lành. Đó cũng là điều chúng tôi đến để chứng kiến. Ngài đã tôn kính cả hai như nhau, nên cả hai đều đạt đến cùng một trạng thái, và đều được thọ hưởng quả báo ngang bằng với Ngài.”
