Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
स तत्रेष्वस्त्रमकरोद् भगुश्रेष्ठाद् यथाविधि । प्रियश्चाभवदत्यर्थ देवदानवरक्षसाम्
sa tatreṣv astram akarod bhaguśreṣṭhād yathāvidhi | priyaś cābhavad atyartha devadānavarakṣasām ||
Nārada nói: Ở đó, theo đúng nghi thức, chàng đã thụ đắc vũ khí phóng (astra) từ bậc tối thượng trong dòng Bhṛgu. Từ ấy, chàng trở nên vô cùng được mến chuộng bởi chư thiên, các Dānava và các Rākṣasa—hàm ý rằng học tập có kỷ luật và hành xử chính đáng có thể giành được sự kính trọng ngay cả giữa những thế lực vốn đối nghịch nhau.
