Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
रामस्तं प्रतिजग्राह पृष्टवा गोत्रादि सर्वश: । उष्यतां स्वागतं चेति प्रीतिमांश्नाभवद् भूुशम्
rāmas taṃ pratijagrāha pṛṣṭvā gotrādi sarvaśaḥ | uṣyatāṃ svāgataṃ ceti prītimān abhavad bhūśam ||
Rāma (Paraśurāma) tiếp nhận ông với sự kính trọng xứng đáng, trước hết hỏi tường tận về dòng họ và mọi điều liên hệ. Rồi, với tinh thần nhận làm đệ tử, ngài nói: “Này con, hãy ở lại đây; con được chào đón.” Nói xong, vị hiền triết hết sức hoan hỷ đối với ông—một khuôn mẫu đạo lý về lòng hiếu khách, sự thẩm xét cẩn trọng, và sự tiếp nhận nhân hậu trong mối dây thầy–trò.
