यच्च पैतामहं स्थान ब्रह्म॒राशिसमुद्धवम्‌ । गुहायां पिहित॑ नित्यं तद्‌ दमेनाभिगम्यते

Transliteration

yac ca paitāmahaṃ sthānaṃ brahma-rāśi-samudbhavam | guhāyāṃ pihitaṃ nityaṃ tad damenābhigamyate ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Cõi tối thượng ấy—nơi an trụ tổ phụ, sinh từ nguồn Phạm—vẫn luôn ẩn kín trong hang động của trái tim. Chỉ nhờ dama: sự chế ngự kỷ luật các căn và sự điều phục vững vàng của tâm, mới có thể đạt đến.”
