Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
यदीद धर्मतो राज्यं विहितं यद्यधर्मत:ः । कार्यस्तत्र न शोको वै भुड्क्ष्य भोगान् यजस्व च,यह राज्य धर्मसे प्राप्त हुआ हो या अधर्मसे, इसके लिये शोक नहीं करना चाहिये। आप भोग भोगिये और यज्ञ कीजिये
yadīdaṃ dharmato rājyaṃ vihitaṃ yady adharmataḥ | kāryas tatra na śoko vai bhuṅkṣva bhogān yajāsva ca ||
Arjuna nói: “Dù vương quyền này đến với ngài do dharma hay thậm chí do adharma, cũng không có cớ gì để sầu muộn vì điều ấy. Hãy nhận lấy những hưởng lạc thuộc phần mình và cử hành các lễ tế (yajña) nữa.”
