कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
ताराब्यं कुमुदाकारमाकाशं निर्मल बहु । घनैर्मुक्ते नभो दृष्टवा लुब्धक: शीतविह्नल:
tārābhyaṃ kumudākāram ākāśaṃ nirmalaṃ bahu | ghanair mukte nabho dṛṣṭvā lubdhakaḥ śītavihvalaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Bầu trời trong vắt, sao dày đặc, trông như một hồ nước được điểm trang bởi những đóa bạch liên (kumuda) nở trọn. Thấy trời đã thoát mây, người thợ săn—run lên vì giá lạnh—đảo mắt nhìn khắp bốn phương; và khi thấy đêm tối dày đặc, hắn tự nhủ rằng chỗ ở của mình còn xa lắm khỏi nơi này.”
