कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
दिशो विलोकयामास विगाढ़ां प्रेक्ष्य शर्वरीम् दूरतो मे निवेशश्व अस्माद् देशादिति प्रभो
diśo vilokayāmāsa vigāḍhāṁ prekṣya śarvarīm | dūrato me niveśaś ca asmād deśād iti prabho prabho ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Thấy đêm tối dày đặc, hắn nhìn quanh bốn phía. Nhận ra màn u ám sâu thẳm, hắn tự nhủ: ‘Ôi chúa công, nhà ta ở xa nơi này.’ Dẫu bầu trời quang đãng, đầy sao, không mây—tựa hồ nước điểm bạch liên nở trọn—người thợ săn vẫn run vì lạnh, đảo mắt khắp phương và lo lắng vì quãng đường về nhà quá xa.”
