कपोत-लुब्धकसंवादः — Hunter’s Remorse and Renunciatory Resolve
पार्श्वत: करणं प्राज्ञो विष्टम्भित्वा प्रकारयेत् । जनस्तच्चरितं धर्म विजानात्यन्यथान्यथा
pārśvataḥ karaṇaṃ prājño viṣṭambhitvā prakārayet | janas tac-caritaṃ dharmaṃ vijānāty anyathānyathā ||
Bhīṣma nói: Người trí nên khởi sự việc mình một cách kín đáo, nâng đỡ và giữ gìn từ bên cạnh cho vững, rồi sau đó mới công khai cho mọi người biết. Bằng không, thiên hạ sẽ hiểu dharma thể hiện trong hành vi của ông theo đủ kiểu khác nhau—và thường là sai lạc.
