यजतां विविधैर्यज्जै: समृद्धैराप्तदक्षिणै: । वनवासकृतं दु:ःखं भविष्यति सुखाय व:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

yajatāṁ vividhair yajñaiḥ samṛddhair āptadakṣiṇaiḥ |

vanavāsakṛtaṁ duḥkhaṁ bhaviṣyati sukhāya vaḥ, rājan ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tâu Đại vương, nhờ chuyên cần cử hành nhiều loại lễ tế thịnh vượng, hoàn mãn theo nghi thức với các phẩm vật bố thí và dakṣiṇā (lễ vật, thù lao tế sư) đúng phép, nỗi khổ do lưu đày nơi rừng của các ngài sẽ được chuyển hóa thành an lạc.”
