ब्रवीषि मधुरं यच्च प्रियो मे5द्य भवानिति
bravīṣi madhuraṁ yac ca priyo me ’dya bhavān iti |
Bhīṣma nói: “Ngươi nói lời ngọt ngào rằng: ‘Hôm nay ngươi thật đáng mến đối với ta.’ Ngay cả điều ấy cũng có nguyên do, hỡi bạn. Ta sẽ giảng rõ ràng—hãy lắng nghe. Con người trở thành đối tượng của tình yêu vì một nguyên nhân, và cũng trở thành đối tượng của thù ghét vì một nguyên nhân.”
