नायं लोको<$स्ति न पर इति व्यवसितो जन: । नालं गन्तुं हि विश्वासं नास्तिके भयशड्किते
nāyaṃ loko 'sti na para iti vyavasito janaḥ | nālaṃ gantuṃ hi viśvāsaṃ nāstike bhayaśaṅkite ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Trong đời có kẻ đã cố chấp tin rằng: ‘Không có đời này, cũng chẳng có đời sau.’ Kẻ vô tín, hư vô như thế là nguồn cơn của sợ hãi và ngờ vực; tuyệt đối không nên đặt lòng tin nơi hắn.”
