Kāpavya-carita (कापव्यचरित) — Reforming Dasyus through Regulated Rāja-Dharma
यदैव प्राकृतं शास्त्रमविशेषेण वर्तते । तदैवमभ्यसेदेवं मेधावी वाप्यथोत्तरम्
yadaiva prākṛtaṃ śāstram aviśeṣeṇa vartate | tadaivam abhyased evaṃ medhāvī vāpy athottaram ||
Bhishma nói: “Khi quy tắc ứng xử thông thường được áp dụng mà không phân biệt trường hợp, thì hãy thực hành đúng như thế. Nhưng người có trí phải tiến xa hơn, nương theo lời chỉ dạy cao hơn và cụ thể hơn, phù hợp với hoàn cảnh.”
