त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma
Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 123
तदाप्रभृति राजेन्द्र ऋषिभि: संशितव्रतै: । मुञ्जपृष्ठ इति प्रोक्त: स देशो रुद्रसेवित:
tadāprabhṛti rājendra ṛṣibhiḥ saṃśitavrataiḥ | muñjapṛṣṭha iti proktaḥ sa deśo rudrasevitaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Từ đó về sau, hỡi bậc vương giả tối thượng, các ṛṣi nghiêm trì giới nguyện đã gọi miền ấy là ‘Muñjapṛṣṭha’. Đó là vùng đất được thánh hóa bởi sự phụng thờ và sự hiện diện của Rudra (Śiva).”
