Gaṇa-nīti
गोत्रस्य नाशं कुर्वन्ति गणभेदस्य कारकम् । कुलोंमें जो कलह होते हैं, उनकी यदि कुलके वृद्ध पुरुषोंने उपेक्षा कर दी तो वे कलह गणोंमें फ़ूट डालकर समस्त कुलका नाश कर डालते हैं
gotrasya nāśaṁ kurvanti gaṇabhedasya kārakam |
Bhīṣma nói: “Kẻ gây nên sự chia rẽ bè phái sẽ đưa dòng tộc đến chỗ diệt vong. Khi trong gia đình nảy sinh tranh chấp mà các bậc trưởng thượng bỏ mặc, thì những bất hòa ấy sẽ xé rẽ các nhóm trong tộc và rốt cuộc hủy hoại cả huyết mạch.”
