विनाशं यास्यति क्षिप्रं कल्याणी पृथुलोचना । “निश्चय ही जिसके पति और पुत्र मारे गये हैं, वह कल्याणमयी विशाललोचना लक्ष्मणकी माता भी सारा समाचार सुनकर तुरंत ही प्राण दे देगी
vināśaṃ yāsyati kṣipraṃ kalyāṇī pṛthulocanā |
Sañjaya nói: “Người phụ nữ cát tường, đôi mắt lớn ấy sẽ chóng gặp cái chết. Quả thật, khi nghe trọn tin rằng chồng và con trai mình đã bị giết, mẹ của Lakṣmaṇa sẽ lập tức lìa bỏ mạng sống.”
