इन्द्रोडग्निरर्यमा चैव यत्र प्राक्‌ प्रीतिमाप्रुवन्‌ त॑ देशं कारपवनाद्‌ यमुनायां जगाम ह

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | indro 'gnir aryamā caiva yatra prāk prītim āpuvan | taṁ deśaṁ kārapavanād yamunāyāṁ jagāma ha | upaviṣṭaḥ kathāḥ śubhrāḥ śuśrāva yadupuṅgavaḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Nơi trên bờ Yamunā mà thuở xưa Indra, Agni và Aryaman đã đạt niềm hoan hỷ lớn—đến nơi ấy, bậc tối thượng trong dòng Yadu đã rời Kārapavana mà đi. Tắm tại bến thiêng ấy, Baladeva đại lực và chính trực tràn ngập hân hoan; rồi ngồi cùng các hiền triết và các bậc thành tựu (siddha), ngài lắng nghe những câu chuyện cao quý, có sức thanh lọc.”
