अरुन्धत्यपि कल्याणी तपोनित्याभवत्‌ तदा । “वे तपस्वी मुनि वहीं आश्रम बनाकर रहने लगे। उस समय कल्याणी अरुन्धती भी प्रतिदिन तपस्यामें ही लगी रही

Arundhaty api kalyāṇī tapo-nityābhavat tadā.

Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi ấy, Arundhatī cát tường cũng trở nên kiên định trong khổ hạnh, ngày ngày chuyên chú vào tapas. Các vị ẩn sĩ khổ hạnh dựng đạo tràng (āśrama) tại đó mà cư trú. Bấy giờ, Arundhatī hiền thiện cũng không ngừng tinh tấn, mỗi ngày đều chuyên tâm tu khổ hạnh.
