Vaiśampāyana nói: Dẫu bàn chân đang bốc cháy, người phụ nữ không vết nhơ ấy vẫn chẳng bận lòng. Mong làm vừa lòng vị đại hiền (maharṣi), nàng đã thực hiện một việc vô cùng khó nhọc—chịu đựng đau đớn mà ý chí không hề lay chuyển.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness in dharma: a virtuous person may endure bodily suffering without distraction when motivated by a higher ethical aim—here, sincere service and the wish to please a great sage.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that a blameless woman, even as her feet burn, ignores the pain and continues an extremely difficult task, driven by the intention to gratify a maharṣi.
