कुमाराभिषेकप्रश्नः — Inquiry into Kumāra (Skanda) Investiture at Sarasvatī
पितामहाय संतप्त एतमर्थ न्यवेदयत् । इस प्रकार उस मस्तकके द्वारा बारंबार पूर्वोक्त बात पूछी जानेपर अत्यन्त संतप्त हुए इन्द्रने ब्रह्माजीसे यह सारा समाचार निवेदन किया
pitāmahāya saṁtāpta etam arthaṁ nyavedayat | itthaṁ tasmin mastakena bāraṁbāraṁ pūrvokta-vākyam pṛṣṭe'tyanta-saṁtāpta indreṇa brahmaṇe idaṁ sarvaṁ samācāraṁ niveditam |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Đau đớn khôn nguôi, Indra đã trình bày việc ấy lên “Đấng Tổ Phụ” Brahmā. Vì thế, khi cái đầu bị chém rời kia cứ lặp đi lặp lại câu hỏi như trước, Indra—ngập trong thống khổ—đã thuật lại toàn bộ sự tình cho Brahmā, mong được phán xét ở bậc cao và giải tỏa gánh nặng đạo lý của điều đã xảy ra.
