नानाविरागवसनाश्षित्रमाल्यानुलेपना: । रत्नचित्राड्भदधरा: समुद्यतकरास्तथा
nānāvirāga-vasanāś citra-mālyānulepanāḥ | ratna-citrāṅgada-dharāḥ samudyata-karās tathā ||
Sañjaya nói: Chúng mặc y phục nhuộm đủ sắc màu. Được điểm trang bằng vòng hoa sặc sỡ và hương đàn, chúng đeo những vòng tay rực sáng khảm châu báu; và tất cả đều giơ tay lên cao—một cảnh tượng điềm gở, siêu phàm giữa hậu quả của cuộc tàn sát, gợi rằng đó là những hữu thể không bị ràng buộc bởi phép tắc người thường, và rằng trật tự đạo lý đã bị bạo lực trong đêm nghiền nát.
