Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
कर्मणैतेन राजेन्द्र धर्मश्न सुमहान् कृत: । आपूृच्छामो नरव्यात्र सर्वकामै: सुपूजिता:
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
karmaṇaitena rājendra dharmajña sumahān kṛtaḥ |
āpṛcchāmo naravyāghra sarvakāmaiḥ supūjitāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc vương giả tối thượng, hỡi người thông tỏ dharma, chính nhờ việc làm này mà ngài đã lập nên công nghiệp thật lớn lao. Hỡi bậc hùng dũng như hổ giữa loài người, ngài đã ban cho chúng ta mọi vật cần cầu và tỏ lòng kính trọng vượt bậc; nay chúng ta xin được ngài cho phép cáo từ.”
