Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
तदद्धुतममन्यन्त दृष्ट्वा सर्वे महीक्षित: । यद् विवेश महाबाहुं तत् तेज: पुरुषोत्तमम्,यह देखकर सभी राजाओंको बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ, क्योंकि उसका तेज महाबाहु पुरुषोत्तममें प्रविष्ट हो गया
tad adbhutam amanyanta dṛṣṭvā sarve mahīkṣitaḥ | yad viveśa mahābāhuṃ tat tejaḥ puruṣottamam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Thấy vậy, tất cả các vua đều kinh ngạc—vì luồng quang huy ấy đã nhập vào Puruṣottama, bậc dũng mãnh tay dài. Cảnh tượng ấy báo hiệu một sự chuyển giao quyền lực và hiện diện do thần minh chuẩn nhận, khiến các bậc quân vương tụ hội phải sững sờ, và nhấn mạnh rằng chủ quyền chân thật đặt nền trên uy lực thiêng liêng cao cả chứ không chỉ ở sức mạnh phàm nhân.
