Educational Q&A

In warfare and leadership, courage alone is insufficient; clear judgment and the ability to reorganize forces at critical moments are essential. The verse critiques a lapse of strategic intelligence and timely initiative.

Sañjaya reports to the blind king (contextually Dhṛtarāṣṭra) about the battlefield situation, addressing Karṇa directly and stating that a certain warrior lacked the presence of mind either to re-form the troops or to display swift, effective heroism.
