मामेव नूनं बीभत्सुममिव च वृकोदर: । अभियातीति मन्वाना:ः पेतुर्मम्लुश्च सम्भ्रमात्
mām eva nūnaṃ bībhatsum amiva ca vṛkodaraḥ | abhiyātīti manvānāḥ petur mamlūś ca sambhramāt ||
Sañjaya nói: Nghĩ rằng: “Chắc hẳn Arjuna—kẻ đáng sợ—đang đuổi riêng ta; và Bhīma—người bụng sói—đang xông thẳng vào ta,” quân Kaurava hoảng loạn, vấp ngã. Niềm tin của họ sụp đổ, và tất thảy trở nên rũ rượi, u sầu.
