योज्यमाने ततस्तस्मिन् बाणे धनुषि पूजिते । चचाल पृथिवी राजन् सशैलवनकानना,राजन! उस उत्तम बाणको धनुषपर चढ़ाते ही पर्वत, वन और काननोंसहित सारी पृथ्वी डगमगाने लगी
yojyamāne tatastasmīn bāṇe dhanuṣi pūjite | cacāla pṛthivī rājan saśailavanakānanā ||
Sañjaya nói: “Tâu Đại vương, ngay khi mũi tên ưu việt, được tôn kính ấy được đặt lên dây cung, toàn cõi đất—cùng núi non, rừng rậm và lùm cây—đều bắt đầu rung chuyển.” Câu kệ làm tăng sức nặng đạo lý và tự sự: việc giương một thần khí đầy uy lực được xem như biến cố khuấy động trật tự thế gian, báo hiệu gánh nặng tai họa của sự leo thang chiến tranh.
