अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः
अपतिहसि कृष्णेति ब्रुवन् पार्थानवैक्षत । यस्य नासीद् भयं पार्थ: सपुत्रै: सजनार्दनै:
apatihasi kṛṣṇeti bruvan pārthān avaikṣata | yasya nāsīd bhayaṃ pārthaḥ saputraiḥ sajanārdanaiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Thốt lên: ‘Ngươi đã bị giết rồi, hỡi Kṛṣṇa!’ hắn nhìn về phía các con trai của Pṛthā. Nhưng Pārtha—cùng các con và có Janārdana bên cạnh—không hề sợ hãi.”
