ननु त्वाहुर्वेदितारं महास्त्रं ब्राह्मं विधेयं परमं जनास्तत्
nanu tvāhur veditāraṁ mahāstraṁ brāhmaṁ vidheyaṁ paramaṁ janās tat
Sañjaya nói: “Hẳn người đời vẫn bảo rằng vũ khí tối thượng của Brahmā—đại thần khí trên trời—chỉ nên được vận dụng bởi kẻ thực sự thông hiểu nó.” Câu này nhấn mạnh sự tiết chế đạo lý trong chiến tranh: quyền cầm nắm sức mạnh cao nhất, hủy diệt nhất không thể tách rời tri thức có kỷ luật và ý hướng có trách nhiệm, chứ không phải chỉ là sở hữu hay tham vọng.
