उभौ विश्लुतकर्माणौ पौरुषेण बलेन च | उभौ च सदृशौ युद्धे शम्बरामरराजयो:

Transliteration

ubhau viśluta-karmāṇau pauruṣeṇa balena ca | ubhau ca sadṛśau yuddhe śambarāmararājayoḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Cả hai, như thể mọi hành động đã vượt khỏi sự kiềm chế, ngang nhau về khí phách nam nhi và sức mạnh thuần túy. Trong chiến trận họ hiện ra tương tự nhau—như Śambara đối đầu với Amara-rāja, vua của chư thiên.
