हाहाकृतं भृशं त्रस्तं लीयमानं परस्परम् । अलातचक्रवत् सैन्यं तदाभ्रमत तावकम्
hāhākṛtaṁ bhṛśaṁ trastaṁ līyamānaṁ parasparam | alātacakravat sainyaṁ tadābhramata tāvakam, mahārāja ||
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, khi ấy quân đội của bệ hạ kinh hoàng tột độ, cất tiếng kêu la hoảng loạn, chen lấn ép sát vào nhau để tìm chỗ nấp, rồi quay cuồng trên chiến địa như một bó đuốc đang xoay tròn; hàng ngũ và ý chí đều tan rã dưới sức nặng của nỗi sợ.”
