संजय उवाच तेषामनीकानि बृहद्ध्वजानि रणे समृद्धानि समागतानि । गर्जन्ति भेरीनिनदोन्मुखानि नादैर्यथा मेघगणास्तपान्ते
sañjaya uvāca teṣām anīkāni bṛhaddhvajāni raṇe samṛddhāni samāgatāni | garjanti bherī-ninadoन्मukhāni nādair yathā megha-gaṇās tapānte ||
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương! Những đội hình chiến trận của họ, hùng mạnh và rợp những lá cờ cao, đã tụ hội trên chiến địa. Bị tiếng trống trận dội vang thúc giục, họ gầm lên—như từng khối mây bắt đầu sấm rền khi cái nóng mùa hạ vừa tàn.”
