भूमिशोभां करिष्यामि पातितै रथकुज्जरै: । “नाना प्रकारके बाणोंका प्रहार करके मैं शत्रुसैनिकोंको भयभीत कर दूँगा। धनुषको कानतक खींचकर छोड़े गये यमराष्ट्रवर्धक बाणोंद्वारा धराशायी किये गये रथों और हाथियोंसे रणभूमिकी शोभा बढ़ाऊँगा

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | bhūmiśobhāṃ kariṣyāmi pātitai rathakuñjaraiḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya nói: “Ta sẽ làm tăng vẻ ‘huy hoàng’ của chiến địa bằng cách quật ngã chiến xa và voi trận. Với muôn kiểu mũi tên, ta sẽ khiến quân địch kinh hãi; và bằng những mũi tên bắn ra khi kéo cung đến tận tai—như tên của Thần Chết—ta sẽ làm chiến xa và voi ngã rạp, khiến chiến trường thêm phần rực rỡ.”
