दिनानि दश भीष्मेण निघ्नता तावकं बलम्
dināni daśa bhīṣmeṇa nighnatā tāvakaṃ balam
Sañjaya nói: Suốt mười ngày, khi Bhīṣma đang đánh gục quân ta, đạo quân Kaurava vẫn bị chém vơi dần từng chút—một hình ảnh cho thấy ngay cả đại quân hùng mạnh cũng có thể tan rã khi bị dẫn vào adharma và phơi mình trước sức mạnh không ngừng của bổn phận gắn với lời thệ của một bậc đại dũng sĩ.
