ते नित्यमुदिता जेतुं मृधे शत्रूनरिंदम । न जात्वाधिरयथेर्भीता: पञ्चाला: स्यु: पराड्मुखा:
te nityam uditā jetuṁ mṛdhe śatrūn ariṁdama | na jātva ādhirathyer bhītāḥ pāñcālāḥ syuḥ parāṅmukhāḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: “Hỡi kẻ hàng phục quân thù, người Pāñcāla luôn bừng chí để khuất phục địch thủ trong chiến trận. Chưa bao giờ Pāñcāla vì sợ Ādhirathya (Karṇa) mà quay mặt khỏi cuộc chiến.”
