त्वष्टा कृतं वाहमकूजनाक्ष॑ शुभं समास्थाय कपिध्वजं तम् | खडगं गृहीत्वा हेमपट्टानुबद्धं धनुश्चेदं गाण्डिवं तालमात्रम्
tvaṣṭā kṛtaṃ vāham akūjanākṣaṃ śubhaṃ samāsthāya kapidhvajaṃ tam | khaḍgaṃ gṛhītvā hemapaṭṭānubaddhaṃ dhanuś cedaṃ gāṇḍivaṃ tālamātram ||
Sañjaya nói: “Lên cỗ chiến xa cát tường do Tvaṣṭṛ tạo tác, đứng trên chiến xa mang cờ hình khỉ, người ấy nắm lấy một thanh kiếm buộc bằng nẹp vàng, và cả cây cung Gāṇḍīva này—lớn mạnh, dài như thân cây cọ—để sửa soạn bước vào công việc chiến trận: chính nghĩa mà khốc liệt.”
