अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

सच्छिन्नवर्मा नाराचप्रहारैर्जर्जरीकृत:
sacchinnavarmā nārācaprahārair jarjarīkṛtaḥ
Sañjaya nói: Áo giáp của chàng đã bị chém nát, và dưới những đòn liên tiếp của các mũi tên nārāca, chàng bị đánh dập, tan tác—một hình ảnh cho thấy bạo lực không ngừng của chiến tranh lột trần mọi che chở của chiến binh, chỉ còn lại sức chịu đựng và ý chí giữa đống hoang tàn.
