कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
संशप्तकानां कदनमकरोद् यत्र पाण्डव: | कोसलानां तथा राजन् नारायणबलस्य च,राजन! वहाँ पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुन संशप्तकोंका, कोसलदेशीय योद्धाओंका तथा नारायणी-सेनाका संहार कर रहे थे
saṁśaptakānāṁ kadanam akarod yatra pāṇḍavaḥ | kosalānāṁ tathā rājan nārāyaṇabalasya ca ||
Sañjaya nói: “Tâu Đại vương! Ở đó—tại phần chiến địa ấy—Arjuna, con của Pāṇḍu, đang tiến hành cuộc tàn sát dữ dội đối với đội Saṁśaptaka, cùng các chiến binh xứ Kosala và đạo quân Nārāyaṇī.”
