अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

नानावादित्रघोषाश्च प्रादुरासन् विशाम्पते । सिंहनादश्न संजज्ञे शूराणामभिगर्जताम्
nānāvāditraghoṣāś ca prādurāsan viśāmpate | siṃhanādaś ca saṃjajñe śūrāṇām abhigarjatām, prajānātha |
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu chúa tể muôn dân, khi ấy tiếng vang của đủ loại nhạc khí chiến trận bỗng bùng lên. Từ mọi phía dậy lên những tiếng gầm như sư tử của các dũng tướng đang thét lời thách đấu—một làn sóng khí thế báo điềm trận chiến leo thang và ý chí đôi bên càng thêm sắt đá.”
