कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
तमास्थाय महादेवस्त्रासयन् दैवतान्यपि । आरुरोह तदा यत्त: कम्पयन्निव मेदिनीम्,तब महादेवजी दानवोंके वधके लिये प्रयत्नशील हो देवताओंको भी डराते और पृथ्वीको कम्पित करते हुए-से उस रथको थामकर उसपर चढ़ने लगे
tam āsthāya mahādevas trāsayan daivatāny api | āruroha tadā yatnaḥ kampayann iva medinīm ||
Nắm lấy cỗ xe ấy, Mahādeva—quyết diệt bọn Dānavas—liền bước lên xe; khiến đến cả chư thiên cũng kinh hãi, và như làm cho mặt đất rung chuyển.
