The Crow-and-Swan Exemplum as Counsel to Karṇa
समेत्य च महावीरीौ संरब्धौ युद्धदुर्मदौ । ववर्षतुर्महेष्वासौ शरैरन्योन्यमाहवे
sametya ca mahāvīrau saṃrabdhau yuddha-durmadau | vavarṣatur mahēṣvāsau śarair anyonyam āhave ||
Sañjaya nói: Hai dũng tướng vĩ đại chạm mặt nhau—cả hai bừng bừng phẫn nộ, như say cuồng bởi cơn điên dại của chiến trận. Hai cung thủ hùng mạnh áp sát nhau trên chiến địa, khóa chặt trong giao tranh và trút xuống nhau từng loạt mưa tên.
