Tripura-destruction exemplum and counsel to Śalya
ताञ्शराज्शकुनिस्तूर्ण चिच्छेदान्यै: पतत्रिभि: । लघ्वस्त्रश्चित्रयोधी च जितकाशी च संयुगे
tāñ śarāñ śakunīs tūrṇaṃ cicchedānyaiḥ patatribhiḥ | laghv-astraś citra-yodhī ca jita-kāśī ca saṃyuge ||
Sañjaya nói: Śakuni lập tức chém gãy những mũi tên ấy bằng các mũi tên lông vũ khác. Nhanh nhẹn trong việc vận dụng binh khí, tinh thông nhiều lối giao chiến, và rạng rỡ bởi niềm tin chiến thắng nơi chiến địa, hắn dùng tên sắc ngăn chặn loạt tên của Sutasoma; rồi—bừng giận—lại bắn ba mũi tên làm Sutasoma bị thương.
