सादी सादिनमासाद्य पत्तयश्न पदातिनम्
sādī sādinam āsādya pattayaś ca padātinam
Sañjaya nói: Khi đã áp sát người đánh xe và chiến binh xa chiến, bộ binh cũng dồn lên đối đầu bộ binh. Trận chiến thắt lại thành giáp lá cà, nơi mỗi hạng chiến sĩ tìm đúng đối thủ cùng hạng, phơi bày đạo lý lạnh lùng của chiến tranh: kỹ nghệ gặp kỹ nghệ, sức mạnh đáp sức mạnh, và cuộc tàn sát càng thêm dữ dội.
