Sañjaya nói: Với ý chí khuất phục những kẻ thù ấy và với khát vọng mãnh liệt muốn giết Jayadratha, Arjuna—mãnh hổ giữa loài người, bậc đại lực—rực sáng uy nghi khi kéo căng cung Gāṇḍīva.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights single-pointed resolve aligned with a warrior’s pledged duty: victory is pursued with discipline, and violence—though tragic—is framed as vow-bound retributive action within the battlefield’s dharma, not as aimless cruelty.
Sanjaya describes Arjuna at a climactic moment: he is determined to defeat the opposing warriors and specifically to kill Jayadratha, and he appears radiant and formidable as he draws his bow, Gāṇḍīva, preparing to strike.
