Adhyāya 92: Irāvanta-śoka, punaḥ-pravṛttiḥ saṅgrāmasya
Arjuna’s grief and the battle’s renewed intensity
गान्धार्या चैव दुर्मेधा: सततं हितकाम्यया । नाबुध्यत पुरा मोहात् तस्य प्राप्तमिदं फलम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | gāndhāryā caiva durmedhāḥ satataṃ hitakāmyayā | nābudhyata purā mohāt tasya prāptam idaṃ phalam |
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Ngay cả Gāndhārī, người luôn mong điều lành cho hắn, cũng nhiều lần khuyên răn kẻ trí mờ ấy; nhưng vì mê muội, thuở trước hắn chẳng hiểu. Nay chính quả báo của sự ngu si ấy đã đến—khi Bhīmasena, nổi giận trên chiến địa, ngày qua ngày đưa những đứa con dại dột của ta xuống cõi Thần Chết.”
