अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment

बाढमित्येवमुक्त्वा तु सर्वे पुरुषमानिन: । मध्यन्दिनगते सूर्ये प्रययु: सर्व एव हि

bāḍham ity evam uktvā tu sarve puruṣa-māninaḥ | madhyandina-gate sūrye prayayuḥ sarva eva hi ||

Sañjaya nói: Nghe vậy, tất cả những chiến sĩ kiêu hùng đều đáp: “Xin vâng.” Khi mặt trời đã lên đến chính ngọ, họ đồng loạt xuất phát—tiếp nhận mệnh lệnh của Yudhiṣṭhira và tiến lên với quyết tâm chiến đấu dũng mãnh, như bổn phận nơi chiến trận đòi hỏi.
