Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment

Educational Q&A

A kṣatriya is bound by honor and duty to stand firm in battle and not abandon a comrade; fear of blame here reflects the ethical pressure of warrior-dharma and accountability to one’s community.

Sañjaya voices a resolve not to withdraw from the battlefield without Bhīma, emphasizing that Bhīma has advanced alone on the battle-path while he himself remains present in the fight.
