अश्रिनौ श्रवणाौ नित्यं देवी जिह्नला सरस्वती । वेदा: संस्कारनिष्ठा हि त्वयीदं जगदाश्रितम्‌

Transliteration

aśvinau śravaṇau nityaṃ devī jihvā sarasvatī | vedāḥ saṃskāra-niṣṭhā hi tvayi idaṃ jagad āśritam ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Đôi thần Aśvin luôn là đôi tai của Ngài, và nữ thần Sarasvatī là lưỡi của Ngài. Các Veda là nền tảng kiên cố của kỷ cương thánh lễ và phép tắc thanh tịnh nơi Ngài. Toàn thể thế gian này không ngừng nương tựa nơi một mình Ngài để được nâng đỡ.”
