भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
शुशुभाते तदा तौ तु शैनेयकुरुपुड़वी । अमावास्यां गतौ यद्वत् सोमसूर्यो नभस्तले,उस अवसरपर (एक रथमें बैठे हुए) सात्यकि और अभिमन्यु उसी प्रकार शोभा पा रहे थे, जैसे अमावास्या तिथिको आकाशमें सूर्य और चन्द्रमा एक ही स्थानमें सुशोभित होते हैं
śuśubhāte tadā tau tu śaineya-kuru-puṅgavau | amāvāsyāṁ gatau yadvat soma-sūryau nabhas-tale ||
Sañjaya nói: Bấy giờ hai người ấy—Śaineya (Sātyaki) và Abhimanyu, bậc ưu tú trong dòng Kuru—cùng tỏa sáng trên một cỗ chiến xa, như Mặt Trăng và Mặt Trời hiện ra trong cùng một vùng trời vào đêm sóc (amāvasyā).
