भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
तावास्थितावेकरथं सौभद्रशिनिपुड्भवौ | सौबलीं समरे सेनां शातयेतां समनन््ततः,उधर सहस्रों रथी जब इधर-उधर भाग रहे थे, उसी समय एक रथपर बैठे हुए अभिमन्यु और सात्यकि सुबलपुत्रकी सेनाका संग्रामभूमिमें सब ओरसे संहार करने लगे
tāv āsthitāv ekarathaṃ saubhadraśinipuṅgavau | saubalīṃ samare senāṃ śātayetāṃ samantataḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: Khi hàng nghìn chiến xa đang tán loạn chạy về muôn hướng, Abhimanyu—con của Subhadrā—và Sātyaki—bậc kiệt xuất của dòng Śini—đứng chung trên một cỗ chiến xa, giữa trận địa mà đánh quét quân Saubala từ bốn phía.
