गौरुडव्यूह-रचना तथा अर्धचन्द्र-प्रत्यव्यूह
Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
अपयातास्तथा पश्चाद् विभुं पश्याम धृष्णव: । शरपातमततिक्रम्य कुरव: कुरुनन्दन
sañjaya uvāca | apayātās tathā paścād vibhuṁ paśyāma dhṛṣṇavaḥ | śarapātam atatikramya kuravaḥ kurunandana | jighāṁsantaṁ yudhāṁ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṁ mahat |
Sañjaya nói: “Rồi sau đó, hỡi Kurunandana, các chiến binh Kuru gan dạ lại tiến lên, vượt qua mưa tên mà không hề quay lui, khi chúng thần dõi nhìn vị dũng tướng hùng mạnh ấy. Mong giết Bhīṣma—bậc chiến sĩ đệ nhất—họ xông thẳng vào người; và đúng lúc ấy, một trận chiến mênh mông, náo động dữ dội bùng nổ.”
