Nirmaryāda-saṃgrāma-varṇana — The Unbounded Clash and Bhīṣma’s Rallying Presence
१२ ।। इदमद्य मया लब्धमिमं प्राप्स्ये मनोरथम् | इदमस्तीदमपि मे भविष्यति पुनर्धनम्
idam adya mayā labdham imaṁ prāpsye manoratham | idam astīdam api me bhaviṣyati punaḥ dhanam ||
Họ nói: “Hôm nay ta đã được điều này; ước nguyện kia nữa ta cũng sẽ toại. Chừng ấy của cải là của ta, và rồi của cải nữa cũng sẽ lại thuộc về ta.” Đó là lời của kẻ mê muội, bị thúc đẩy bởi lòng chiếm hữu và cơn đói tích lũy, lầm tưởng lợi lộc tạm bợ là sự an ổn bền lâu và là điều hợp với đạo lý.
